Who Holds Your Tomorrow?

As I was working this morning, I was listening to Wes’ playlist on Spotify and was moved by the song called “You Already Know” by JJ Heller. I could only imagine this is how Wes was feeling and I know he acknowledged this truth that God already knew it all. For Wes, the thought of not knowing whether he’d be able to function the next day and wondering what was his purpose when the thought of getting out of bed was a chore, was a reminder that God was and is in control. As Wes would always tell people, “if you have breath you have a purpose”. Sometimes it’s just hard to see that purpose when it’s not what you thought or hoped it would be.

As we move on, we are reminded that our creator who loves us and died for us, knows our tomorrow and what it holds. In the meantime all we can do is be faithful with what He puts before us. Today, I had a great conversation with a neighbor who was walking by, about the hope that we have as Jesus followers. I was able to share with him a little of our story and how I am thankful for the community, neighbors and body of believers who have surrounded our family and how God is faithful through it all.

We are blessed!

The feature picture is of the Strawberries I picked today from the garden. Below is the crew Kasey and I went with Whitewater Rafting. We had a blast! Thanks Karena for being our captain – you were Awesome!

  1. Just finished writing Kasey when your message came. Great timing!
Yes, it’s hard to see our purpose sometimes. The hope is we will always look for it. Can’t find it if I don’t keep my eyes open for it. Bless you, Love, Diane

  2. Dear Karen….your message here has fit perfectly. This past Sunday the 21 yr old son of dear friends in New Hampshire was in a tragic motorcycle accident. He’s been in the trauma center these past 3 days, unconscious & passing, as it would appear. Our hearts are breaking, painfully. And, tonight the young man’s parents have been in conversation with organ donors. The mom shared that will be the miracles we have been praying for….many lives potentially saved from his. Praise God Almighty!
May God’s Peace Be Upon Your Home and the Family and All Touched By This Young Man’s Life!

  9. Thank you so much Karen for the encouragement, in today’s world we must have hope and faith that our Creator, Lord Jesus Christ is still in control. Prophecy is being played out and the enemy will get stronger. Knowing that there are people like you in this world that share our faith and love God as much as I do, is very encouraging. Thank you for sharing, God bless, Big hug to the kids and enjoy the strawberries, they look delicious

  12. It’s been over 25 years that my dear husband went to glory. He is running a Christian School in heaven…one like we worked in together many years along with our four children. I know He is watching over you and your children now. His promises are sure and we can depend on Him. May He continue to be your Guide and strength for each day. Love and prayers, Aunt Mildred Psm 143;8 CAUSE ME TO KNOW THE WAY I SHOULD WALK.
